Word from Forks WA is that the marine layer is coming back in, and they dropped 41 degrees tonight, from 109˙F to 68˙F.

I think I can speak for most of #Seattle when I say, my body is ready.

I would be quite happy if Signal would rebrand itself to be "a messenger that doesn't share your data", instead of a "secure messenger".

It would serve at least two useful purposes:
1) it's a more clear message, and thus easier for non-technical folk to get without need for further explanation
2.) it would stop all of the concern about Signal prioritizing new features instead of focusing on "security"

1) It's the gigantic neighborhood garage sale day on Saturday from 9am to 2pm.

hello!

as many of you know, i have been living on @doubleDensity's living room futon for the past year-ish since escaping from my abusive parents

except there's one problem now -- the futon's all fucked!

literally all four legs are broken and it's propped up with old electronics at every corner, there's a pothole in the center with a bunch of sharp edges that i have to put a pillow over when i sleep... the whole thing is falling apart and it's just a painful experience all-around sleeping on it

so if anybody wants to improve my quality of life tenfold with a new (used) futon that'd be super fucking cool! we even have a shampooer and everything to clean it!
